Such a beautiful place to spend a day hiking or on a horse.
Apparently this is the place to be if you like camping with your horse. I was out scouting potential campsite areas but the stench of horse manure and piss was too much so I moved on. This is a good central location to access the trail network. No water or electricity and only facilities are a pit toilet. 4 dollar a day usage fee per vehicle.
There is plenty of horse water. The Vault toilets are well maintained. Grassy areas are mode and have a fresh layer of fine rock under the horse picketing area. Trails are marked very well. There is plenty of horse water on the trails also. However don't take Google suggestion and take County Road 900 because the bridge is out.
Great place to trail ride and camp
No fresh water for horses, byob (bring your own bucket) nice tree covering for parking trailer/truck. Marked and maintained trails and creeks/ ponds for horses to drink.
